How will you show your #BCPSblue pride?

TOWSON, MD—Baltimore County Public Schools will celebrate Team BCPS Day on Thursday, January 14. BCPS encourages all current, former, and future students, families, staff, volunteers, partners, and community members to join the party and show their support by participating in special Team BCPS Day activities.

“From wearing blue to sending photographs and submitting messages, there are a lot of ways to get involved in this year’s Team BCPS Day,” says Superintendent Dallas Dance.

Team BCPS members who sport the school system’s signature blue can share photographs through social media with the hashtag #BCPSblue. They may also email their photographs to communications@bcps.org.

Business partners and alumni can get involved as well by sharing written or recorded messages about their role in Team BCPS and what the school system means to them. These can be sent to BCPS through Twitter with the hashtag #BCPSblue or through email at communications@bcps.org.

Additionally, this year, Team BCPS Day recognizes the publication of “Building the Future,” a book written by a recently retired BCPS employee about the school system’s history and legacy. To celebrate this, the search is on for photographs of BCPS classrooms, schools, and school activities from any point in time. Past and present BCPS members can share any related pictures they may have through Twitter with the hashtag #BCPSblue or by emailing communications@bcps.org.

Less than a week remains until Team BCPS Day—get ready to show your spirit on Jan. 14!
