The Education Foundation’s board of directors got a jumpstart on Thanksgiving with a breakfast buffet prepared by students in the culinary arts and baking and pastry programs at Sollers Point Technical High School. The board members also learned more about the school and its career and technical education and magnet programs from the school’s principal, Dr. Kathleen Setzer. Students spoke about their decisions to study at Sollers Point and their career and higher education plans. Chefs Angela Cassano and Jeffrey Smith discussed their commitment to the program.
