A Community Hole in One – Tee Off for TEAM BCPS Golf Classic
On Friday, October 15, 2021, on a beautiful sunny, autumn day, at an amazing championship golf course, with fantastic community support, The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools welcomed 108 golfers to the Greystone Golf Course in White Hall, Maryland. The event’s proceeds, funding 21st Century Instructional Initiative Grants, post-secondary scholarships opportunities as well innovative programs for students in elementary, middle, and high school awarded to Baltimore County Public Schools’ educators, was a huge success.
The foundation wishes to thank all of our Education Champions, sponsors from the community and businesses, participants, volunteers and BCPS offices and colleagues who contributed to the day, enjoying conversation and collegiality on the course and during reception, dinner, and awards ceremony. The day’s schedule began as golfers were welcomed by the foundation, with a message of gratitude from the Honorary Chair, Darryl L. Williams, Ed.D., Superintendent of BCPS, extending his appreciation to all those in attendance for their dedication and support provided to the district. The foundation extends our appreciate to Dr. Williams for serving as the 2021-2022 Golf Classic Honorary Chair.
