Share the Warmth

What do Merritt Companies, iFly Baltimore , Brooks-Huff Tire and Auto Centers, Lewis Contractors, Lakeshore Learning, O’Conor Mooney & Fitzgerald Realty and BCPS all have in common? They are collecting hats, gloves, scarves and mittens for the Share the Warmth initiative, part of The Exchangeree’s, Gizmos & Gadgets Galore campaign, created to support Baltimore County Public School’s students in need.

With the cold winter months upon us, often times the need for winter accessories are welcomed by many. The Education Foundation of BCPS, Inc. is currently collecting these items and will be distributing them to teachers for students in need at The Exchangeree after the Grand Opening on January 30, 2019.

Teachers will be able to register to visit The Exchangeree at specified times and dates when it will be open to BCPS educators. Not only will they be able to choose from items donated through the Share the Warmth initiative, but school supplies will also be available, year round provided through the Tools for School campaign.

The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools continues to bridge partnerships between the community and the district, supporting programs that are not supported through allocated funds from tax dollars. We look forward to sharing more information about The Exchangeree. Please visit our Web site to learn more about Share the Warmth at the campaign called Gizmos and Gadgets Galore.
