Join the Global Movement-#GivingTuesday

On November 28, 2017, The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools will be participating in #GivingTuesday—a day which promotes charitable donations across the globe.

Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, #GivingTuesday allows us the opportunity to give back to organizations and foundations that support causes around our community and beyond. This year, to date, the #GivingTuesday campaign has raised online $177 million, providing 1,640,000 gifts in over 98 countries.

Please join The Education Foundation of BCPS in supporting this movement by giving back on #GivingTuesday.

The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools, Inc., provides support for the continuous growth and success of BCPS students and their families. Our funds are designated to support district-wide initiatives, innovative learning experiences, 21st Century Instructional Initiative Grants (awarded to schools and offices to enrich, extend and enhance the academic and behavioral settings of each school), and Scholarships (which provide our students with resources to post-secondary education opportunities).

Here are some of the ways that you can participate:

  • Encourage your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors and social networks to get involved by using the hashtag #GivingTuesday
  • Inspire them to volunteer, become a Team BCPS ambassador, donate or organize a campaign that promotes the cause
  • Post a photo on social media and share on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter showing how you plan to support #GivingTuesday with the hashtags #GivingTuesday and #TeamBCPSGivesBack
  • Donate to The Education Foundation in support of Baltimore County Public Schools
