BCPS Teachers Register for Free School Supplies

For Baltimore County Public Schools teachers only:

how to register for free school supplies

TOWSON, MD — Beginning on Monday, Aug. 7, Baltimore County Public Schools teachers can register to receive free school supplies for their students.

Last year, for the first time, BCPS distributed donated school supplies to 400 teachers in a space generously loaned to The Education Foundation of BCPS by the management of White Marsh Mall. This year, to make the distribution process more efficient, BCPS teachers are asked to register for 30-minute slots via Eventbrite. A link to the Eventbrite page will launch on Monday, Aug. 7, and will be accessible from the homepage of the BCPS website. The distribution itself will take place on Saturday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Please note that this distribution is only for Baltimore County Public Schools teachers and that they must show proof that they are BCPS teachers (e.g., school identification cards or new hire letters) to enter the distribution site. (There will be no exceptions to this rule.)

This year – as a result of overwhelming community response to the Back to School Involves You, Too! school supply drive, BCPS plans to provide school supplies to approximately 500 BCPS teachers.

The Education Foundation of BCPS, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established to attract and direct public financial contributions to programs and activities of the school system in support of quality education for all children.
