Seating still available for two workshops centered on supporting grandchildren’s academic progress

What: Grandparents have two opportunities this week to join Baltimore County Public Schools staff for a lively conversation about the joys and challenges of supporting grandchildren’s academic progress. Spaces remain at workshops designed for grandparents, especially those who are raising their grandchildren or provide before- or after-school care or are deeply involved in their grandchildren’s lives. A free continental breakfast, sponsored by Oak Contracting, will be provided at each event.

Background: These workshops are offered by the BCPS Parent University in honor of national Grandparents Day on September 7 and as part of the BCPS Back to School Involves You, Too! campaign. The BCPS Parent University offers a variety of in-person workshops throughout the community as well as online resources and videos to meet the unique needs of all families.
