About Tricia
Mrs. Thomas resides in Cockeysville, Maryland and is the Partner and Director of Learning at Gross Mendelsohn, in Baltimore City, since 2007. Certificated as a Certified Public Accountant in both Maryland and Virginia, with over three decades of experience she has also been employed at Clifton Gunderson, LLP and Coyne & McClean, Chartered. Tricia received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting at Mount Saint Mary’s College, Newburgh, New York.
Mrs. Thomas is very active in both professional and civic organizations. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations and ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership. She has served as past board members and treasurer of the Red Devils, former Finance Chair for the Catholic Community of St. Francis Xavier as well as a served as a volunteer Loyola Blakefield Mother’s Club and Prom Committee, Jacksonville Elementary School PTA Audit Chair and the Denison University Parents Lacrosse Club.
Serving as a frequent speaker on reporting changes and other issues for the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations and authored several articles on construction and bonding issues. She was awarded the Distinguished Young Alumni, at Mount Saint Mary’s College and Top Tax Accountant by the Baltimore Magazine. Tricia is married and has two adult sons.
