Phillip C. Martien

Born in Paris, France, Mr. Martien resides in Carroll County, Finksburg, Maryland and is the President of Phillips Way, Inc. With dual citizenship he is a proud graduate of Maximilien Perret University, Paris, France where he received his degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business and Finance.  Phillip is married and has five children, all boys.it

Running all activities for the management of a $30 to $50 million company for more than thirty-five years, Phillip demonstrates his service to community and work within the philanthropic world by serving on the following board of directors and involved in professional /community organizations:  Associated Builders & Contractors Legislative Council, Associated Builders & Contractors - Baltimore Chapter, American Institute of Architects – Maryland Chapter, Association of School Business Officials, American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning Engineers, Building Congress & Exchange, Chesapeake Area Society of Healthcare Engineers, Construction Management Association of America, International Facility Management Association, and the Plumbing,  Heating, Cooling Contractors of Maryland.

Over the past several decades, Mr. Martien has received several awards and accolades including but limited to the following:  Appointed to the State of Maryland Procurement Advisory Council by Governor Ehrlich and then Governor O’Malley, recipient of the Ernest & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and the ABC Awards of Construction Excellence.

Serving as a Board of Director for the Education Foundation Phillip believes, “it is important to give back to the community.  This mission is important because it is for the kids, our future.”
