Show Your Pride on Team BCPS Day 2017!

On Thursday, January 12, 2017, Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) will once again celebrate Team BCPS Day.  Every year, we use this special day to unite as a community in BCPS blue—from students, families, alumni, and staff, to parents, volunteers, elected officials and business partners.

You can help us in several ways.  First, join us by encouraging your staff to wear blue and share blue pride through photos, videos, and messages about why you are part of Team BCPS.  Use hashtag #BCPSblue on social media, or email communications@bcps.org.  Take a look at last year’s Team BCPS Day here.

Your donated goods or services will help us recognize our winning photos and videos.  Categories for recognition might include Most Spirited, Most Inspirational, and Best Video.  To discuss options, please contact Ms. Debbie Phelps at dphelps@bcps.org or 443-809-8962.  We will credit each donor and share our appreciation for your generosity in a news release, on our Web site and elsewhere.

We also appreciate your creativity.  For example, you might illuminate your building with a blue light.  Or, offer your customers “blue light special” discounts on blue clothing and other items prior to Thursday, January 12, 2017.  Please give us advance notice by Friday, January 6, 2017, so that we can promote your efforts.  Contact Mr. Brandon Oland, BCPS communications specialist II, at boland@bcps.org or 443-809-7801.
