Fundraiser to Support Scholarship Opportunities

The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools, and Maryland Association of Nonpublic Special Education Facilities (MANSEF), will be hosting its third annual Swing for Education Golf Classic, celebrating ‘Legacy in Leadership’ and raising funds for scholarships and Twenty-First Century Instructional Initiative Grants.  The funds earned from this event will benefit both Baltimore County Public School students and MANSEF students pursuing additional education opportunities.  Swing for Education will be held at the Greystone Golf Course, in White Hall, Maryland, on Friday, October 23, 2015.

Friday’s golf classic will begin with a golf registration and a driving range warm-up at 10:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at noon. The tournament will be followed by a Nineteenth Hole BBQ Blast and a Sunset Awards Reception.  Golf registration includes:  deluxe lunch on the course, Nineteenth Hole BBQ Blast, Sunset Awards Reception, unlimited beverage cart, all-beef hot dog at the half, a golf visor, and a gift bag. Guests who aren’t golfing can enjoy a BBQ-only option (which includes beer and wine)—a great opportunity to enjoy the day with friends, family, or networking. For golfers and non-golfers alike, the Swing for Education Golf Classic is a perfect way to end a busy work week by participating in a tournament filled with camaraderie and memorable moments while supporting a great cause.
