Life is a Blast, Education is a Blast
On February 13, 2015, “Education Is a Blast Night” provided free admission to Baltimore County Public Schools teachers and/or administrators, in appreciation for their hard work and dedication to the children of Baltimore County Public Schools. Also on that night, students from participating schools who entered the “Life Is a Blast” art contest participated in the “Parade of Champions,” in which they were be able to showcase their artwork, parading throughout the arena and on the field.
The artwork was judged and prizes were awarded by the Baltimore Blast, displaying the artwork on the scoreboard. Students who participated in the “Parade of Champions” were able to obtain one FREE ticket to participate that evening.
“The team’s support—through fundraisers, visits to the schools and appreciation nights—have provided a positive benefit to our students, teachers and programs throughout Baltimore County Public Schools,” said Education Foundation Director Deborah Phelps. “I am very pleased that we have this opportunity to continue to partner with Baltimore’s professional soccer team, Baltimore Blast.”
