About Heather

Dr. Heather RC Wooldridge has been in education for 25 years and is certified K-12. Early in her career she taught English and related subjects in middle and high schools, served as a work-based learning coordinator, department chair, and high school assistant principal. For the last 9 years she has served Baltimore County Public Schools as the Coordinator of College and Career Readiness. She now serves as the Associate Director of The Education Foundation of BCPS, Inc.

Dr. Wooldridge has taught undergraduate and graduate courses for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, CaseNex, and Notre Dame of Maryland University. She is a trained National Staff Developer for AVID Center, The Leadership Challenge Facilitator, and Training Wheels Experiential Learning Facilitator.

Dr. Wooldridge has a Ph.D. in Leadership for Changing Populations from Notre Dame of Maryland University, a Masters in Instructional Technology and Library Media from Towson University, a Bachelors in English/Writing and Secondary Education from Loyola University, a Non-Profit Management Certificate from Duke University, a Project Management Professional Certificate from Cornell, a Life Engagement Coaching Certificate from Anne Arundel Community College, and a group fitness professional certificate from AAAI/ISMA.

Heather is an avid reader and steward of 3 Little Free Libraries in Baltimore County, Maryland where she lives and gardens with her husband of 23 years.
