Last fall, The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools, Inc., was selected by the Little Free Library organization as one of three organizations globally to participate in its first ever Read in Color cohort. Through this initiative, the foundation distributed 10 Little Free Libraries and thousands of diverse books that provide perspectives on racism and social justice, celebrate Black, indigenous, and people of color, LGBTQ+, and other marginalized voices, and incorporate experiences from all identities for all readers.
