Congratulations! Ms. Verletta White Named Superintendent of Baltimore County Public Schools
It is with highest regards that we congratulate Ms. Verletta White on her appointment as the Superintendent of Baltimore County schools. Her term will begin on July 1, 2018. Ms. White will be the first woman to serve as BCPS superintendent since the schools system was established in the late 1840’s. She brings a level of experience to the school system that encompasses deep roots within the county as a BCPS graduate, career educator and parent.
The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools, Inc. wishes her success towards future endeavors and support through programs and initiatives with focus toward enhanced student literacy and an emphasis on school safety, culture and climate.
