Entire community invited to welcome BCPS students back to school
Calling all Team BCPS members to welcome more than 112,000 students back to Baltimore County classrooms on Wednesday, Aug. 24!
As part of this year’s Back to School Involves You, Too! campaign, the entire community—students, alumni, parents, staff, volunteers, business leaders, and community members—is invited to join the celebration of the start of school.
To help ring in the new school year, the community can get involved in two ways. The first is to share back-to-school photographs. Second, all are invited to share messages about the excitement of the first day, hopes for the new school year, and memories about going back to school. Pictures and messages may be shared by emailing communications@bcps.org<
This year’s Back to School Involves You, Too! campaign, supported by the Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools, includes a school supply drive, Team BCPS Day with the Orioles, the second annual Back to School Festival at Boscov’s White Marsh, Early Entry Day for students entering Grades 6 and 9, the Kevin Liles for a Better Baltimore Back to School events, and an attendance public service announcement contest.
