A student, a teacher, and a leader in Baltimore County Public Schools, Mr. Maddox spent many rainy, snowy and even sunny days becoming an author and a historian gathering information about our school district, to create, Building the Future. In 276 full-color pages, the commemorative Building the Future book showcases the history of Baltimore County Public Schools in a way that has never been done before. This compilation of stories, photos and testimonials will escort you on a journey that began in 1732 and continues to this day. It describes the system’s growth – and occasional growing pains – and how Baltimore County Public Schools ultimately became a school system renowned for both its stability and innovation.
Mr. Farrell Maddox, author and historian, will share his story, which was inspired by his grandmother. Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Boscov’s, White Marsh Mall, time to be announced.
