The 2nd Swing for Education Golf Classic Raises Money for Scholarship Opportunities

The 2014 Swing for Education Golf Classic will be held at Greystone Golf Course, 2115 White Hall Road, White Hall, Maryland on October 10, 2014. Hosted by The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools, Inc. and the Maryland Association of Nonpublic Special Education Facilities (MANSEF) our distinguished honorary chairs will be Louis and Nancy Grasmick.

Greystone Golf Course was designed by Joe Lee, architect of Doral Resort’s famed Blue Monster and the courses at Walt Disney World; Greystone Golf Course is a true masterpiece in layout, challenge and entertainment. This championship course includes 140 feet of elevation changes and features seven ponds and more than 80 bunkers. The tall hardwood trees, wetlands, and native vegetation add an abundance of character to the design. Greystone’s tees, greens and fairways are all preferred Bent Grass, and all are expertly maintained by the outstanding turf management staff. Just picture yourself and your business partners and friends on this beautiful golf course, on an October autumn day. (See photo gallery below.)

On Friday, the day of the 2014 golf classic, we will begin with a golf registration and a driving range warm-up at 10:30am, followed with a shotgun start at 12:00 Noon. The tournament will be followed by a BBQ BLAST and a sunset Awards Reception. Golf registration includes the following: deluxe lunch on the course, 19^th hold BBQ Blast, sunset awards reception, unlimited beverage cart, all beef hot dog at the half and a golf visor and gift bag. If you are unable to golf that day or would like you significant other and friends to join you for networking and the BBQ, including beer and wine, we provide that opportunity as well. What a perfect way to end a busy work week participating in a tournament filled with camaraderie and memorable moments.

Your support will enhance the lives of deserving students in our community with resources to further their education and obtain knowledge and skills needed to be globally competitive. Monies raised will be supporting scholarship opportunities for students with a variety of needs.
