In the Month of MAY….Dine out for a Cause! “Eat to Empower”

Can you imagine going through school, not knowing what you would eat or where you would sleep? This is a reality that more than 13,000 children enrolled in Maryland schools face every day.
Homeless children suffer from hunger and poor emotional health, which leads to missed educational opportunities. Eat to Empower encourages local restaurant owners and community members to contribute to the empowerment of Baltimore’s children, simply by eating.
The vision of The Education Foundation is to ensure that all Baltimore County Public School students have the resources to enable them to graduate and succeed after graduation.
Throughout May, local restaurants will be sponsoring Eat to Empower events in support of efforts to help fight food insecurity for Baltimore’s homeless children. But we need help and support from our community too! Attend an Eat to Empower event near you to help us make a difference.
