MISSION MOMENT: SPRING 2024 LITTLE FREE LIBRARY READ IN COLOR EXPANSION
Last fall, The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools, Inc., was selected to participate in the Little Free Library organization’s first ever Read in Color cohort. The ability to offer 10 Read in Color Little Free Libraries (LFLs), 10 boxes of diverse books, and $10,000+ more in diverse books to our community was an amazing catalyst for the expansion of the foundation’s “Books for Bins” literacy campaign. Little did the foundation know that this was just the beginning of a partnership that would rapidly expand the network of LFLs and diverse books in Baltimore County and our surrounding communities.
