The Education Foundation of BCPS Scholarship Program
Eighteen (18) $1,000.00 scholarships and twelve (12) $500.00 scholarships are awarded to seniors who attend BCPS comprehensive high schools. Additional private scholarships awarded through selected funds are also awarded to BCPS students through independent submission and review.
The Foundation's $1,000.00 scholarships are based on the following areas: Business, Economic, Entrepreneurial and Financial Literacy (BEEF) and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). The Foundation's $500.00 scholarships are based on the following area: Career and Technical Education. The competitive selection process is based on student essay, academic performance (high school transcript and SAT/ACT Scores), resume (including service) and two (2) letters of reference (one character reference and one academic reference).
BEEF and STEM and the Tools for the Trades scholarship opportunities can be accessed through Naviance.
The application must be delivered to the student’s high school counselor on or before, March 21, 2025. Late application will not be accepted. If the deadline is extended for any reason, it will be the decision of The Education Foundation of BCPS, Inc.
