Tools for School is BACK!

Gearing Up for Back to School with The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools, Inc., Tools for School Campaign

Each year, The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools invites the community to participate in the Tools for School campaign supporting BCPS students by hosting a supply drive or purchasing and donating basic supplies and resources to help students gain confidence as well as reduce stress and anxiety.  Research shows that when students have the basic tools they need they will be  educationally prepared for learning and more likely to succeed.   The Tools for School campaign also provides teachers with additional tools for teaching and learning in their classroom helping to eliminate the financial burden placed upon them of spending money from their own pockets.

By hosting a school supply drive and/or simply purchasing and donating supplies the foundation is able to distribute them to our educators for our students less fortunate. BCPS educators are able to select necessary supplies and resources by visiting one of our two collaborative educator resource centers called the Exchangeree:  Gizmos and Gadgets Galore.   The Exchangeree is a multi-faceted initiative with four campaigns supporting Baltimore County Public Schools students directly via their full-time teachers and support staff.  One center is in partnership with Merritt Companies, located in an industrial business park at Windsor Mill and the second is in partnership with Federal Realty and is located at THE AVENUE in White Marsh.  Both centers providing supplies and resources at no cost to BCPS educators for their students throughout the entire year.
