Mission Moment: Celebrating Teacher & Principals of the Year 2018

Can you image…..

You are in the middle of a fact filled science project with a classroom of bright eyed 2nd Grade students, and….

Or…. You are entering the conference room, ready to meet with your assistant principals to review top priority agenda, and…..

Or…. You are in the middle of an end of year review that you’ve prepared for, and…..who walks in?

The Prize Patrol with balloons, gifts and bright smiling faces, there to celebrate you as Teacher or Principal of the Year 2018.  That’s what happened to Rebecca Eig teacher at Owings Mills Elementary, Aubrey Brown, Principal of Randallstown High School and Cheryl Brooks, Principal of Berkshire Elementary on Wednesday, May 31st.

The BCPS Teacher of the Year and BCPS Principal of the Year – Elementary and Secondary is an exciting recognition ceremony within our school district. It recognizes all 173 BCPS schools.  Prior to the delivery of gifts from the Prize Patrol Caravan, a recognition ceremony and reception event was held that recognized all teachers and administrators who have been nominated. The event showcased the teacher/administrative talent we have in Baltimore County Public Schools.

Join us for next year’s celebration as we invite current and future community partners to champion our schools.
