OLD BAY FESTIVAL TO BE HELD AT PADONIA PARK CLUB

As its popular and definitive seafood spice OLD BAY® celebrates its 75th anniversary, McCormick & Co. will partner with Padonia Park Club in Cockeysville, Md., for a festival to be held on the grounds of the year-round park off of Padonia Road.

The OLD BAY® FESTIVAL AT PADONIA PARK CLUB will be held on Sept. 20, 2014, from noon-6 p.m. and will feature music, a cooking competition among some local restaurants and Padonia Park Club’s head chef, as well as a special OLD BAY-themed menu and a Kids Zone.

Celebrity judges will be on hand to judge the “Most Unique OLD BAY Cook-Off” as chefs from the area, including Padonia Park Club’s own Liz Read, vie for the coveted first-place award.

Music will include Cara Kelly and the Tell Tale, Kate Fleming, and Three Flights Up, among others.

“We are excited to be partnering with McCormick & Co. for this first-time festival,” said Kathy Angstadt, CEO of Padonia Park Club. “We think we have the perfect festival venue in which we will be able to combine great food with lots of music and fun.”

Advance sale adult tickets for the event are $18, and tickets for children aged 3-12 are $5. Tickets go on sale August 1.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools and the Cockeysville-Timonium Lions Club.

Sponsorship and vendor options are available starting as low as $200. More information is available from Padonia Park Club at 410-252-2046.

Tickets are available in the Club office as well as online through MissionTix.
