Excellence in Education Grants

Grants for Elementary Schools

The Education Foundation is honored to have partnered with Open Door Before and After School Care to launch the Excellence in Education Grants to BCPS elementary schools, in order to fund innovative projects not supported by the school budget.  Projects application are no longer being accepted at this time.  If you are interested in applying for a 21st Century Grant from the foundation, please consider applying for an Instructional Initiative Grant.

With each project addressing at least one of the following instruction focused 21st Century Themes as stated, elementary schools will identify an academic opportunity within their school house.  The goal of the initiative was to diversify elementary education focus to excellence in education opportunities and increase student/parent/teacher/community collaborative efforts.
