Mr. Jaime Bakert, Secretary | Strategic Account Executive, Microsoft

Mr. Bakert resides in Fells Point, Baltimore City, Maryland and is the Strategic Account Executive for Microsoft Corporation. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University, Carey Business School with a M.S. degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications and Towson University with a B. A. in Business Marketing. Jamie is married and has a three month old son and a six year old dog that is an integral part of the Bakert family.

A sixteen year veteran to the industry, Mr. Bakert served as an adjunct professor at ITT Technical Institute, and an enterprise architect and a systems engineer at Johns Hopkins Hospital.  As the newly appointed Strategic Account Executive with Microsoft he is responsible for the development of strategic relationships with Education Leadership in DC, Maryland, and Virginia in order to drive awareness of Microsoft’s Education programs that impact teachers, parents and students.  Also, he consults with stakeholders on the best use of technology to achieve outstanding student outcomes.

As a twenty year resident of the Baltimore communities, a life-long learner, and practitioner of education, he is driven to give back to his adoptive state of Maryland.  He is eager to share his knowledge and offer servitude to the leadership and educators who impacts students directly.  As a father, he believes that our children are our future and we must provide our best efforts and guidance so that they can achieve greatness.

Mr. Bakert’ s accolades include being the recipient of the Platinum Award 2013- Microsoft Outstanding Achiever and the Red White, Blue Award 2014 – Microsoft Outstanding Achiever in Education.  Knowing the importance of philanthropy he has served in both leadership capacity and board membership.  He was the Past President of Sigma Pi Fraternity- Towson University and the Founding Member/Past President of Eta-Nu Alumni Association.
