Dear Team BCPS:

November 9 was BCPS Education Support Personnel Day, in recognition of the invaluable staff who support students and schools everyday including office professionals, computer support professionals, classroom paraeducators, health assistants, sign language interpreters, and residency investigators.

That night, the Board of Education approved the calendar for the 2017-2018 school year. Schools will open after Labor Day in 2017, and spring break 2018 will be a four-day weekend. You can view the calendar online.

This week, we welcome visitors to experience innovative learning as our schools celebrate American Education Week. Feel free to share photos using #BCPSedweek2016.

Take care,

Dr. Dance
