Summer Instrumental Music Camp offered free public concert in White Marsh

On June 29th, the Annual BCPS Summer Instrumental Music Camp performed a free public concert at The Avenue at White Marsh. The summer camp, which is open to BCPS students in Grades 5-12, offers instruction on instrumental performance skills and techniques, music enrichment classes, and rehearsals in band and orchestra ensembles.

Jerry’s Chevrolet and The Avenue at White Marsh presented a check representing scholarship funds they have donated to ensure that students in the White Marsh area can attend the camp. Working with The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools, Jerry’s Chevrolet and The Avenue at White Marsh have announced plans to provide scholarships in future years also.

A percentage of sales from restaurants at the Avenue will be donated today to the BCPS Office of Music to be used to support the scholarship fund.

Thank you to Jerry’s Chevrolet and The Avenue at White Marsh for your generous support!
